Each person has his or her own way of best processing information. If you consider the major modes of transferring information--text, voice/sound, video/sight, scent and touch--we each have a built-in ranking of these modes that works best for us. Few people depend primarily on just one. Unfortunately, most help desks are built around the manner in which the help desk administrators process information, not how their clients do so. And too often, help desks are designed to emphasize one mode over all others (usually voice if you get a live person, or text if you don't). Pixetell would seem to be the perfect solution to overcome the frustrations encountered by both help desk employees and their clients. We would appreciate any input on help desk applications. |
