Ontier Inc. Donates Stock Options to Entrepreneurs Foundation of the Northwest
Local Developer of On-Demand Software Donates Options on 250,000 Shares to Portland-based Foundation
Portland, Oregon—March 24, 2009 — The Entrepreneurs Foundation of the Northwest (EFNW), created to provide early stage growth companies a way to give back to the community, received a donation of options on 250,000 shares from Ontier Inc. Board member Les Fahey and CEO Sebastian Rapport personally contributed 20 percent of this from their individual equity positions.
“We are very pleased to welcome promising start-ups such as Ontier into our membership,” said Dave Squire, president EFNW. “Growing our membership with companies like Ontier, that have both strong potential and a genuine commitment to the community, is why we exist. It is what will enable EFNW to provide current and future support for non-profits, which is so important, especially in this challenging economy.”
By joining EFNW, Ontier Inc., formed in early 2008, is guaranteeing their allegiance to community involvement. “The connection between local companies and their local communities is a mutually beneficial relationship,” said Sebastian Rapport, CEO, Ontier Inc. “This donation enables us to promise a portion of our future success now and we look forward to working with EFNW to further develop a culture of community involvement and giving.”
