On January 4th, 2010 the American Association of School Administrators (www.aasa.org) began a partnership with Ontier Inc. to make Pixetell available to its school district members. AASA is partnering with Ontier in the distribution effort aimed initially at AASA’s 11,000 school superintendent members. AASA will receive a portion of each sale into the K-12 market.
Pixetell is on-demand software used to improve the efficiency of administrative processes, and to improve the learning experience for students. It enables accelerated communication and comprehension by enabling an individual to quickly add voice, screen recordings and video to email and electronic documents.
AASA members who use Pixetell enthusiastically endorse it. Chris Gaines, who serves as superintendent of the Wright City, MO, R-11 School District, has found myriad applications for Pixetell messages in his communications with staff, students, parents and others.
“Pixetell allows us to get the same message to everyone. Instead of having four to six separate meetings where the message can get tweaked, now everyone is getting the same thing,” Gaines said. Gaines’ use of Pixetell was the subject of a Jan. 12 article in AASA’s “Leader’s Edge” e-newsletter.
Pixetell has also received favorable reviews by teachers as an instructional tool that can improve learning outcomes for students, and increase parental involvement in their child’s education.

Administrators, teachers, other instructional staff, and technology coordinators can download and use Pixetell in minutes. Individuals can make better use of their time. Team members can work together at their own pace without the need to meet face to face. It reduces time spent on emails, phone calls and meetings. Just “Say it. Show it. Send it.”
